Where is the best place to meet older women? I always wanted to date some one who is over 30 years old. I am 21 years old and like older women who are like housewife and mature, independent. Where is the best place to meet these kind of women? | church
bar on a thursday night
or at a daycare picking up their guy..but you might scare her..so think about that last one
and library
but mostly outings or lounges.. | Tips on how to be housewife type? Ok, for the next month i am working on learning to cook great meals, clean properly and effectively, and be sweet caring, social and Mature? Can anyone give me some great tips to do this? Thanks! I am 18 years old by the way. | | Why would you want to? Be who you are, not who people think you should be. | Why are mature students more cliquey and competetive? Basically I am in my second year of a history degree. There is a group of other mature students in my lecture and seminar group, who constantly cling to each other. Their 'leader' is this 40 year old housewife who is quite pretentious and concieted. I try and be nice and work with them bt they seem to rebuff me! They-mainly the ring leader- only talk to me to catch me out or undermine my confidence (eg "I've allready thought of my dissetation next year, have you?", "my seminar tutor told me I am gifted and have a lot of potential" or my favourite "have you done this weeks reading?"[no i just mess about and watch day time TV(!)]). Maybe they think I am unintelligent/lazy and an easy target to make themselves feel better! Oh and I suspect the ring leader of colluding with her best mate (also in this group) and I am tempted to grass them up as (a) theyre gits! (b) theyve given themselves an unfair advantage! | I have never noticed that about the mature students at my schools. When I worked with them as a fellow student they were usually the nicest ones and among the hardest workers, and when I was a TA and had them as students they were almost always the ones I could count on to attend every class, turn assignments in on time, deal with things like lower-than-expected grades in a mature manner, follow the directions in the syllabus or assignment handouts, etc. I always looked forward to having them in my classes because I knew there would be at least one student or classmate I could get along with, since even though I was often half their age (or younger!) I tended to have more in common with them than my immature, cliquey, college-age classmates who were more concerned with where to get their next beer and where to find an easy A than with actually learning anything.
It could be that you have just found a bunch of bad eggs. It does happen. Or maybe you're reading the situation wrong (e.g. it's not "I've already thought of my dissertation next year, have you?" but rather, "Hey, I've been thinking about my dissertation for next year, how about you?" as a means of, you know, being friendly and bonding over something that is definitely a shared experience for both of you). They might prefer hanging out with each other because they feel they have more in common with each other than with the younger college crowd. For example, while it's not unheard of for a student of typical college age to have a long-term full-time job, guys to take care of, ailing parents to take care of, and tons of things to do related to those responsibilities, it's much more likely that a 40-something mature student will have those things to worry about.
If their behavior bothers you so much, just ignore them. You don't HAVE to hang out with them or like them, and they don't have to hang out with or like you either. Spend some time trying to make friends with your other classmates instead. | Pretty women: How much $ would you need to be a housewife? To my target respondents:
You're much prettier than average and are quite intelligent.
You have wholesome values, want guys, want to be loved, etc.
Will be faithful and seek a mature, intelligent, decent looking, wholesome values man.
Could easily take care of yourself, and are not marrying to move off the dirt floor and into the palace.
I want the above described woman and have financial opportunities ahead of me, but who wants to work more than they have to?
How much $ do you need to feel good about just letting the man make the money and you being a (good-looking) housewife, having his guyren, being his lover and confidante? You may want to do volunteer work, dedicate lots of time to helping friends, be a soccer mom, etc. In short, you are a well-qualified full time WOMAN.
How much do you need your husband to make for you to feel comfortable with above arrangement?
| | Hah, sounds like that husband wouldn't be home to spend enough time with you, anyway. | Is CW Really Gonna Introduce A New 90210 To Their Line-Up? I don't really understand Tv ratings or viewers so I'm no expert but is it really wise for CW to have only prime time shows like ANTM, One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl, and now 90210? Doesn't every network want a wide variety of audiences? If they're only aiming for viewers 15-29 who might already be watching more mature shows like Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy aren't they hurting they're network? | | Unfortunately, they are introducing 90210 in their line-up. I do agree that it will probably be like the other teen dramas they have which means that they will draw in the same audience which i'm not sure if its a good thing or bad in Cw's case. | How do I protect myself from falling so easily for guys that I know are crap? Essentially I will meet someone cute and decent, then realize some major flaws, but I will KNOWINGLY lie to myself and cover for their flaws, excusing them rather. How do I stop myself from doing this? (I know a real decent guy will never come along though, and yes in case you're wondering, I am a guy too...) I know one option would be a psychologist but maybe we have one in the room? Does anyone have any real, true advice on how maybe I can stop doing this to myself? I have relatively good self confidence and I am fairly cute but good guys never work out. I am kind of like Susan from Desperate Housewives, except I'm some crazy fun loving but mature 18 year old? Ok, answer away, thanks! | | If you KNOW that you don't need to be with these guys, then when you meet them you need to not let it go any farther. I know it is hard when you are attracted to them, but in the long run it is better to not put yourself through the same thing over and over again. I know it is hard being single for a long time, I'm in the same boat, but in the end it is better than getting your heart broken over and over again by guys that you know are going to do it. Just hang out with your single friends, enjoy being 18 and having fun, and the right person will come along eventually (going out with nothing but couples will end up making you feel worse and like a huge third wheel, trust me on that one). Good luck, let me know how things go, and email me if you have any more problems, greeneyeddevl@yahoo.com. | How to: Become an Art Teacher? I finally have some resemblance of a life back after having 2 guys and becoming a housewife.
I want to get back into studying again. I want to aim for Art Teacher.
I know I will have to study art again, but what kind of "paper" will I have to study for? diploma, degree, bachelors or masters?? and will I also have to study teaching? if so what?
I'm currently in Melbourne Australia. What will be appropriate for teaching internationally?
Any Art Teachers have advice?
Thanks for your help and guidance!
oh! I would be applying as a Mature Aged Student | I'm not sure about Australia, but in the United States, most public school systems require a teacher to have certain educational levels depending on what grade level you teach. For example, if you are going to teach K-12 (ages 4 - 18 - primary and secondary school here), you need to have a Bachelor's Degree and some kind of teaching certificate in the state you are going to teach. The requirements for the certificate depend on the state.
If you want to teach at a community college (where the highest degree obtainable by students in an Associates Degree, or two-year degree), then you usually need a Master's Degree to teach.
If you want to teach at a University, then you need a PhD to teach there, but not always.
So you could ask yourself what grade level you want to teach. Do you want to teach University students or do you want to teach eight-year old guys in fourth grade? Because that will greatly affect what level of education/certification you need to obtain.
If you can find some kind of open art studio in your area, they may allow you to assist in teaching after-school art classes to guys, without any kind of education or certification! So look into all your options, then contact the local community college or university and speak with a career counselor about the different opportunities available. And enroll in some classes, art classes and art education classes. Good luck!! | When will Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan ever gonna grow up? They are in their late 20's and they are acting like teenagers...
My mother and other women were grown and became mature housewives and mothers in their 20's...
What is wrong with women these days??? They are so immature... | Well it's more to Lindsay Lohan's problems than just being immature. she doesn't have anybody that steps in for her to be that support as a parent or as a friend because her mom think she's a teenage girl and and celeb as well. her dad is in and out of jail and he's all over the place bashing her in the media. She has personal issues...
Paris Hilton, she just needs her Luxuries taken away because she is way too spoiled and way too famous for nothing and its disgusting. She does what she wants and not even the U.S. law can stop her because she's in and out of jail like its a joke to her and a daily routine.
Miley may not turn out as terrible as them or maybe she will it depends how long she sticks around after her contract with Disney is done. | Do You Think 'Mature' Women Have Become Sex Symbols? Desperate Housewives
"Stacey's Mom"
the 'MILF'
the sexualizing of "soccer moms"....
You see it all over the place today & in recent years. Women roughly over 35 through 50-something getting as much attention, or arguably more, for their sex appeal as their 20-something counterparts.
What do you think?
As far as I'm concerned, they were Always hot! ;) | | Shhh, don't say anything - we want the smartest and best guys for ourselves. | Mature Student? I am currently lucky enough to be housewife but am interested in attending a 1day course for sign language, (after getting familiar with the baby sign language I am practising with my 17 month old son). My partner is on fairly good wages therefore I am doubtful if I would be entitled to a free course, although we are not in a position to just spend out hundreds on this at the current time. I do receive guy benefit/tax credit and wondered has anyone been in the same situation who could recommend the best first point of contact for me. Much appreciated. | go to your local college - you will be able to do BSL stage 1 over 1 year part time - you can then do stage 2 over two years.
the stage one course is usually about 2 hours a week.
cost can be abnything from free to £100 then you have to pay for our exam - sorry I don't know how much it is, mine was £35 but that was 7 years ago.
You may also find a class at your local deaf club. This is a good option because as well as the class itself you will be able to use your BSL in the club.
You can also do a university route, some will allow you to start wih no sign lnguage but you are commiting yourself to 3/4 years study and huge fees. |
